Our quality driven services are delivered by board certified physicians, highly trained nurses, excellent clinical support services, and state-of�the-art technology. Currently, Sumter Regional Hospital is a 143-bed acute care facility with more than 50 active medical staff members representing more than 25 specialties. SRH has served the Middle Flint Region since 1953, and since our beginning we have continuously upgraded services, facility, and equipment. We were the first hospital in the state to offer the LDRP (Labor-Delivery-Recovery-Postpartum) Service. In March of 1999, we completed an expansion project that added over 95,000 square feet of space, including state-of-the-art Inpatient and Outpatient Surgical Suites, Coronary Care Unit, Emergency Room, and over 25,000 square feet of new medical offices. In addition to our highly trained staff of physicians, nurses, and support professionals, SRH also offers a variety of services which focus on diagnostic and therapeutic protocols, such as an Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Unit, Pediatrics Unit, Lithography, MRI, 24-hour Emergency Medical Services, Oncology Clinic, Vascular Laboratory and Rural Outreach Health Clinics.
